Realvolve Alternatives: 6 Relationship-First Real Estate CRMs That Are Simpler (and Cheaper) in 2026

Realvolve is one of the few real estate CRMs built around the right idea: your past clients and sphere matter more than your lead pipeline. Agents who find Realvolve usually love the philosophy — and then quietly get frustrated with the reality. The workflow builder is powerful but fragile. The $94/mo starting price is steep for a solo agent. Setup takes weeks, and the moment you stop maintaining your workflows, they rot. This is an honest list of what to look at instead if the Realvolve idea is right for you but the execution is not.

Short answer up front: if you genuinely enjoy building custom workflows and have 10+ hours to invest in setup, stay on Realvolve — nothing in the category matches its flexibility. If you want the same relationship-first philosophy without the build-your-own-CRM burden, Clientaro (our own product, Free for 30 contacts or $19/mo Starter) is the closest match in spirit at a fraction of the price. Wise Agent, Top Producer, and a couple of others are also worth considering for specific situations, and we will tell you when.

Why agents shop "Realvolve alternatives" in the first place

When we talk to agents who have switched off Realvolve, five reasons show up over and over:

  1. Setup never ends. Realvolve's power comes from its workflow builder. That also means nothing works until you build it. Most solo agents spend the first three weeks in configuration mode and then give up before they see a return.
  2. The $94/mo floor. Pro tier is $94/user/month. Add a couple of integrations and you are at $110-$130 per seat. For a solo agent doing $60-$120k GCI, that is a meaningful line item.
  3. Workflows rot. A workflow that does not fire when it should — because a trigger changed, or a contact was tagged wrong — is worse than no workflow at all. You stop trusting the system.
  4. Mobile is an afterthought. Realvolve is desktop-first. Agents in cars and at showings want a CRM that loads in two seconds on a phone. Realvolve is closer to twenty.
  5. Support is thin for solos. Realvolve is small and focused. The support they have tends to go to team accounts and power users. Solo agents feel like they are on their own.

None of this is an attack on Realvolve — it is a genuinely thoughtful product. It is a mismatch between a tool designed for the 10% of agents who love system-building and the 90% who just want the system to exist.

What to look for in a Realvolve alternative

Before the list, here are the four things that actually matter for agents leaving Realvolve:

  • Relationship-first data model. Your past clients and sphere — not your leads — should be the center of the UI. This is what drew you to Realvolve in the first place. Do not regress to a pipeline CRM.
  • Opinionated defaults. You do not want to build the workflow. You want the workflow to already exist — and be good enough — on day one.
  • Under $60/month for a solo seat. You are leaving Realvolve partly for price. Do not swap it for another $94 tool.
  • Fast, mobile-native. Every interaction — adding a contact after a showing, logging a call from the car, checking today's follow-ups — happens on a phone. If the CRM is not fast there, it does not matter how good the desktop is.

The 6 Realvolve alternatives, ranked

Ranked by fit for agents leaving Realvolve specifically — not by total feature count. Clientaro is #1 because it is the closest philosophical match at a fraction of the setup cost. The other five are honest options for specific situations.

1. Clientaro — Free · $19/mo Starter · $49/mo Pro

Best for: solo agents and 2-5 person teams who loved Realvolve's relationship-first framing but gave up on workflow maintenance. Agents who want the system to work on day one.

What Clientaro does differently: we built the system Realvolve expects you to configure. Instead of a workflow builder, you get a Daily Five — Clientaro picks five past clients every morning based on referral probability, time since last contact, and life events. Households group spouses, kids, anniversaries, pets, and move-in dates so every conversation is grounded in the actual relationship. Referral Radar surfaces the 20 people most likely to send you business this quarter. No workflow to build, no plan to maintain, no trigger to debug.

Where Clientaro beats Realvolve for most agents: Free for 30 contacts (then $19/mo Starter or $49/mo Pro) vs $94/mo. Under 10 minutes of setup — import your CSV, answer three questions, Daily Five starts tomorrow. Mobile-first, sub-2-second load. Opinionated defaults instead of blank canvas. If you liked the idea of Realvolve but never fully deployed it, this is the version that actually ships.

Where Realvolve beats Clientaro: if you genuinely enjoy building multi-branch automations and want every touchpoint to be custom, Realvolve wins. If you run a team with bespoke processes and a workflow-builder personality on staff, Realvolve wins. Clientaro is opinionated by design — that is the point — so power users who want to own their workflow should stay put.

2. Wise Agent — $49/mo flat

Best for: agents who want a stable, unlimited-users CRM and do not mind a dated UI.

What it does well: Wise Agent has been around forever and it shows — in a good way. $49/mo flat for unlimited users, unlimited contacts, built-in drip campaigns, and a checklist-style transaction module. If you are leaving Realvolve because of price and you have a small team, this is the most under-priced option on the market.

Where it loses to Realvolve: the relationship-first framing is not there. Wise Agent is pipeline-oriented under the hood — contacts live inside lead sources and transaction stages. If the Realvolve philosophy is what drew you in, Wise Agent will feel like a step back.

Where it loses to Clientaro: no Daily Five, no household model, no referral scoring. The UI is functional but not fast. If you want the Realvolve philosophy, Clientaro is the closer match; Wise Agent is the pragmatic "it just works" option.

3. Top Producer — $60-$80/mo per user

Best for: agents with a long history on Top Producer who want a known quantity.

What it does well: Top Producer has modernized meaningfully in the last two years. The relationship timeline and "hot list" features are genuinely good, and the MLS integrations are the best in the category. If you have been in real estate for 15+ years you already know someone who uses it.

Where it loses: pricing creeps. The advertised $60 quickly becomes $80-$100 with add-ons (Smart Targeting, website, IDX). The UI is improved but still feels closer to 2015 than 2026. Mobile is playable, not native. If you left Realvolve because of price and setup burden, Top Producer fixes one of those and not the other.

4. HubSpot (Starter tier) — $20/seat/mo

Best for: agents who want a massive ecosystem and do not mind adapting a general-purpose CRM.

What it does well: HubSpot is the best-built SaaS CRM in the world, and the Starter tier is genuinely inexpensive. The marketing automation, email tooling, and reporting are all top-shelf. Most real estate integrations (Zapier, Make, MLS webhooks) target HubSpot first.

Where it loses: HubSpot is not a real estate CRM. You will spend real time configuring custom properties for households, anniversaries, and move-in dates. The lifecycle stages are built for SaaS deal pipelines, not for sphere-and-referral work. If you enjoyed the Realvolve workflow builder, you will be at home here — and that may be exactly the thing you were trying to escape.

5. Follow Up Boss — $69/user/mo (Grow)

Best for: teams of 5+ running real lead volume (Zillow, Homes.com, paid traffic).

What it does well: best lead router in the category, solid action plans, great onboarding for teams. If your business model has shifted from referrals to paid leads, FUB is a real upgrade. See our Follow Up Boss alternatives guide for the full breakdown.

Where it loses to Realvolve and Clientaro: FUB is pipeline-first by philosophy. Past clients and sphere get buried behind won-leads views. For the kind of agent who liked Realvolve, FUB is the wrong direction — it is a more expensive pipeline tool, not a more polished relationship tool.

6. LionDesk — shut down September 2025

LionDesk is no longer operating. If you are still running data out of a LionDesk export, get it into a new CRM this week — browser logins are gone and the export endpoint could follow. See our LionDesk alternatives guide for migration details.

The migration playbook — leaving Realvolve cleanly

Realvolve's export surface is solid — better than most legacy CRMs — but there are three things to get right before you hit cancel.

  1. Export contacts and households. Realvolve's household model is one of its best features. Do not lose it. Export both the contacts CSV and the relationships CSV (under Settings → Export). Any CRM that does not support households will flatten your family units into disconnected individuals.
  2. Export your active workflows as a spreadsheet. You will not migrate workflows directly — every CRM's automation engine is different — but you want a human-readable list of the triggers and actions you were using. Translate them into the new system's equivalent (or, in Clientaro's case, verify they are already handled by Daily Five defaults).
  3. Export tasks, notes, and transaction history. These are the fields agents forget about until they need them for a tax audit or a referral follow-up two years later. Get the full export, not just contacts.

In Clientaro specifically, the import flow is: upload contacts CSV → upload households/relationships CSV → Clientaro asks three questions (geography, typical deal cycle, referral mix), then Daily Five starts the next morning with your actual past clients ranked. Total time: 15-25 minutes. No workflow rebuild required.

Decision tree — which one to actually pick

Stop shopping. Pick one of these paths and move.

  • You liked Realvolve's philosophy but never fully deployed it → Clientaro (Free for 30 contacts, then $19/mo Starter). You get the relationship-first framing without the workflow-building burden.
  • You want the cheapest stable option with unlimited users → Wise Agent ($49/mo flat).
  • You are a workflow-building power user and want more flexibility, not less → stay on Realvolve. It is still the best at what it does, and the cost of switching is higher than the cost of continuing.
  • Your business has shifted to paid leads and you have a team of 5+ → Follow Up Boss. Accept the price, get the lead router.
  • You need a general-purpose CRM that plugs into dozens of tools → HubSpot Starter. Know that you are building a real estate CRM on top of a SaaS CRM.

Honest bottom line

If Realvolve clicked for you philosophically but you kept bouncing off the complexity, Clientaro is the CRM Realvolve is trying to be for most agents — opinionated, relationship-first, instant to set up, Free for 30 contacts or $19/mo Starter instead of $94/mo. If you genuinely enjoy building the system and have the time for it, Realvolve remains a great product and you should stay. Real estate CRM is a tool, not a hobby — pick the one that matches how much CRM work you actually want to do.
